Devils Tower Climbing offers a variety of climbing trips tailored to your specific interests. Whether you would like to hire a guide for the day, upgrade your climbing trip to include an all inclusive stay at Devils Tower Lodge, or take a course to advance your climbing skills, Devils Tower Climbing can make it happen. When you climb with us, your guide is yours for the day. You will not be placed in a group with strangers, and you can climb for as long as you want.

GUIDED CLIMBS

Two Day Devils
Tower Experience

Day 1 is our practice day. This involves getting you outfitted with all the necessary gear and heading up to the Tower for some climbing! We will focus on getting you prepared for a smooth and successful Summit trip. We cover crack climbing, multipitch, trad climbing, and rappelling skills while gaining the familiarity and comfort of climbing on the Tower.

Day 2 is our SUMMIT DAY. This is what we trained for! You and your guide will start scaling the Tower with the goal of standing on the Summit! These days can start very early during the peak of summer. With no time restrictions, you can rappel down and head back up another route if you feel like climbing some more after you reach the summit. You make the call!

SUMMIT DAY

A summit day usually starts early and sometimes goes late. You and your personal guide will find a route that is appropriately challenging and blast off. The only way up is to climb and the only way down is to rappel. For those who wish to turn the adventure dial up after reaching the summit there are always more routes to climb!

PLAY DAY

A play day is a totally customizable guided climbing experience. These days do not involve a trip to the summit of the Tower, but they are not limited to time or number of pitches (rope lengths). The day can be spent trying to climb as many pitches as possible, climbing hard routes, or spent learning new skills!

5 Hour Introduction
to Rock Climbing

Our 5 Hour Introduction to Rock Climbing is a fantastic options for those who want to try climbing for the first time and want to experience Devils Tower to the fullest! In these half-day excursions we will teach the basics of movement and how to use some of the essential equipment while climbing to heights of over 100 feet! This option is great for families or groups who are visiting the park and want more than the average tourist experience! We've worked with children as young as 3 years old and as old as 91!

5 Hour Introduction to Rock Climbing
$200 for single climber
$125 per person for a party of 2
$100 per person for a group of 3 or more

Custer State Park

The Needles of Custer, South Dakota are packed with hundreds of incredible granite spires ranging from 30ft to 300ft. The climbing in Custer State Park offers a variety of routes for the Newbie as well as the Seasoned Climber. There is truly something here for everyone. We currently offer Full Day excursions, customizable to make your ideal adventure a reality.

The best way to maximize your climbing with us is to insure a good night's rest and eliminating any travel time on climbing days. We offer all inclusive lodging and food accommodations so all you need to focus on is the climb.

Master Jammer Package

Our Master Jammer Package is an all inclusive TWO day climbing and lodging experience! You will have your own private room in our Lodge with all meals included for two days. You will also have the professional instruction of your own personal rock guide for two full days of climbing on Devils Tower!

Rock Star Package

Our Rock Star Package is an all inclusive THREE day climbing and lodging experience! Your accommodations will be as close to the Tower as you can get in a private room at Devils Tower Lodge with all meals included for three days. You will also have the professional instruction of your own personal rock guide for three full days of climbing on Devils Tower!
There are a few different options for how to spend your days at Devils Tower. We can spend the first two days learning technique and summit on the third, or spend the first day learning technique, summit on the second day, and focus on climbing as much as possible the third day!! We can adjust to whatever is best for YOU. Having three days provides a very flexible schedule and gives you the best experience possible.
Single Occupancy: $1600/one person
Double Occupancy: $1275/per person Groups of 3+ vary.

Trad Climbing Fundamentals

Making the leap from Sport to Trad climbing can be intimidating. Our Trad Climbing Fundamentals course is designed to efficiently and effectively help you learn the most important skills when starting to place your own gear and build gear anchors. Having a thorough understanding of the equipment, the forces generated, and risk assessment are critical in the safety of the sport. Some of the material covered in this course includes

The Aid Climbing & Bigwall 101 course is designed to help you & your partner learn the skills necessary to tackle the big climbs of the world. Some of the material covered in this course includes
